Studio Info

Lessons at Evelyn's Piano Studio start in mid-August and run through to mid-June.  I do offer summer lessons to those who are interested.  The studio has grown over the years and currently I am happy to be teaching right around 30 hours a week (2014-15).

I teach students of all ages - elementary, teenagers, young adults, returning adults and even retired adults.  We explore music at what ever level they need.  To begin, I like to use the Piano Adventures music books by Randy and Nancy Faber to lay a good musical foundation.  After the students advance some, we move into the Celebration Series which is the selected curriculum for the Music Development Program.

While I work at home, my studio is separate from our house and therefore offers privacy for both students and parents.  No need to feel like you are invading someone's home because you aren't!  The studio suite is complete with a separate computer lab for use by the younger students, and a private restroom.  There is a second driveway for studio patrons and ample parking for your convenience.

My studio enjoys many opportunities for the students to share their music including recitals, community service projects, festivals, assessments, group lessons and master classes.  I also have students who participate in composition and performance competitions.

Evelyn's Piano Studio is one of the most active studios in the area.
