AIM - Achievement In Music

This is an annual event hosted by our local Goshen-Elkhart Music Teacher's Association.  The curriculum was created by our state affilate, Indiana MTA.  It is a great way to introduce our students to piano assessments.  It is held at Goshen College each fall.  Each year, I send as many of my students as possible to this event.

Hoosier Auditions

Another annual event that we can participate in.  This is a performance competition.  It too is an IMTA sponsored event and hosted at Goshen College. We are a part of District B. 

Opus Festival 

This is for the composer!  If students have pieces that they have composed, they can enter in this competition and receive comments from nationally recognized composers.  It is an awesome experience.  If a students wins his/her age category they are invited to play their composition at our annual State Conference.
